A couple of Mondays ago, under blue skies and gorgeous temps, I drove over the bridge to Newport RI for Brittany and Ryan’s elopement.
As I rounded the corner towards our meeting place, the Chanler, a large bank of fog was there to greet me. As much as I love a great big blue sky, I also adore fog and the eery yet beautiful light it brings.
I met Brittany up in her room as she got into her gown:
Brittany + Ryan did a pre-ceremony first look as the fog and sunshine battled it out above:
We drove over to Breton Point for their ceremony, which was held on a rock they found the night before.
We then took a drive around Newport and took a few couple portraits. Every location we went had a different weather pattern, it was pretty quintessential Newport weather 🙂
I love how spontaneous and laid back this wedding was, how they decided to forgo the big shin-dig and instead went with an intimate celebration that focused on what truly matters: their love and devotion to one another.
Congratulations Brittany + Ryan!
Ciao + Love,
