Is there anything cuter than Kitten Yoga?
I’ll wait.
Okay maybe puppy yoga comes extremely close, like so close I wish we could combine them and have a puppy + kitten yoga class 😉
Cuteness Overload!
The fabulous folks from Front Street Animal Shelter brought basket fulls of kittens to her Elevated for a yoga class, taught by the amazing Victoria Lockwood.
Okay, maybe they didn’t use actual baskets, because transporting open baskets of kittens might sound + look cute, but probably not the wisest choice when traveling with kittens.
The volunteers and fosters used very safe and very secure animal carriers for their precious cargoes!
Once the doors were secured, so there wasn’t a threat of any escape artists, the kittens were released!
It was so fun to see the ones that immediately took to the space and started doing zoomies.
While some others hung back, a little timid and unsure.
Once the yoga class started, though, most of the kittens were running about, finding humans to play with.
Or parts of humans.
Feet were playfully attacked, sweatshirt strings were batted about, fingers were sneks that needed to be meowdered, and the MEOWmo was out that humans make great climbing posts.
Again, when it comes to business events (and businesses) there is always a story to tell.
I love documenting events like this, capturing the look, yet more importantly, capturing how it felt to be surrounded by silly kitten energy and giggly happy people.
Also, did I mention kittens? Yea, kittens.
And, unless you’re wicked allergic to cats
(I heard one person there who said they were allergic but they did it anyway!) –
this event felt GREAT.
Like joy on joy on joy!
